Deanna completed the Boston in 4hrs. 9min. carrying the Nkhoma Orphan's on her back Tens of thousands of people cheered her and the several thousand other marathoners giving constant praise and encouragement.
It is a special marathon and "we" were blessed and humbled to be able to use the Boston as a platform to raise the awareness for the needs of those so much less fortunate that we are.

ReplyDeleteYou are "running the race" as it talking about in 1 Corinthians 9:23-25 "I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."
